Jesse's 2nd Birthday

Blowing out his candle with a little slobber...

Playing with his cousins and his new toys!
Jesse would not look up for the pictures with his grandparents.  The new cars were too captivating!

He always asks for pizza, so that's what he got.  Pizza for his birthday.

We didn't have a friend party, but we had a casual get together with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  And because Jesse is obsessed with Disney Cars, I made him a glorious Lightning McQueen cake!  Now just take a look at the cake and you will see why I am rather proud of myself!  It was a lot harder than I thought it would be, so you can imagine my surprise when I saw the outcome of my sweat and tears!  Not only did it look good but it tasted good, too! I thought that I may just open a cake shop!  (I'm sorry, I just had to brag.)
Okay, now back to Jesse's birthday. Can't believe he is 2!   Until... he starts throwing tantrums in restaurants, talking jibber jabber to his heart's content, throwing toy cars at our precious wood floors, and making his daddy play basketball on his knees, then I remember, Oh, this is what they call the "wonderful" twos... It really is wonderful, and we have had lots of fun with our little buddy!  Happy Birthday Jesse!
